Where has the last week gone?

Well another 7 days have dis-appeared  where has the last week  gone? Can some-one tell me please? coz I sure as hell can't remember where the time has gone!
Well peeps! I have been a very busy bee disappearing in my own boxes & space trying to re-arrange the house ready for my daughter & son-in-law who arrive tommorrow! EEEEK! thats toooo quick! I haven't even done the christmas shopping yet! Goodness only knows when I'll get round to doing that! Sometime between now & tommorrow evening or else they wont have any christmas pressies to take home with them!

I did have another little plan up my sleeve..... As you may remember, I was having the last session of an IT card making course I've been enjoying, well peeps,  I finished my course and came away with a card I designed & printed myself AND a calendar! I am very proud of myself!
This gave me the idea of producing my own personal calendars for all my family with my newly aquired skills! BUT.......... as sods law predicts, this was the week my laptop went on the blink so I haven't been able to do ANY BLOODY THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! So calendar gifts will have to be postponed as new year 'surprise' gifts!...........S o dont go telling will you?!

Is there anybody out there????!

Hi there peeps!
Are there any 'peep's out there reading my blogs? ...........or am I 'peeping to myself!? -.......It wouldn't be the first time I've found myself talking to myself!
But.... I'll carry on anyway since I am an accomplished 'answer myself back, coz no-ones listening' natterer!
Today I am going to be very busy ATTEMPTING to unpack boxes and re-arrange the house and furniture ready for my newly married daughter and son-in-law......Aw peeps! thats the first time since the wedding in sept, that I have said or written Son-In-Law!....feel privileged peeps! Very privileged!
Anyway, as I was saying before my distractive brain cell rudely interupted! back to the task in hand!
My newly married daughter and SON-IN-LAW! who have just informed me they are coming up from Cornwall  NEXT WEEK! to visit for a few days before christmas and if I'm unable to put them up, they won't be able to come! 
I can barely swing a gnat round here, never mind a cat!
This is besides the fact I am spending time with my beautiful grandson today too!
Tommorrow, I have the last session of an IT card making course I've been enjoying and.........
Saturday I'm booked to do some family hairdressing for the afternoon!

And don't even mention my uniqcutebabies cutiecake making!

I'M BACK!



Hey there Bloggers!

After a long absence, coz I've been pooorly sob sob!

I AM BACK!   Maybe sporadically for a while, as I am still not 100%

Since I last Blogged, (apart from being poorly)

I FINALLY and very proudly became a Nanna on 28th May at stupid o'clock in the morning-1am!

Poor 'Mummy in waiting' had a rough time & they finally 'whipped' Grandson out by C-section.

'Daddy in waiting'.............VERY nearly carried out his threat of getting out the spanner to extract  'Baby in waiting'!

Grandson is now a beautiful 6 month old stunner, with a mop of dark hair, big sparkly eyes & a never ending smile - except when he's teething, hungry or tired!

Meanwhile, you may remember...

I was disappearing under a mountain of boxes as I was on the verge of moving! After several false starts I finally moved in July!……….whilst....

If you check out uniqcutebabies.co.uk you will see I was also very busy baking' more Babycakes.............

I managed 3 'on the move' & several more 'out of boxes'! And I'm STILL living out of boxes!

Added to all this activity, I injured my leg....

...chasing my doggie! & ended up on crutches for 2 months!

Thankfully, I rested it well so that I was able to drive to Cornwall in Sept.....

To celebrate my eldest 'baby's' wedding! She looked gorgeous & even managed to outdo their wedding venue- Lusty Glaze Beach! I'm not biased!

HONEST! ;-)



OMG!   Just one day to go to ExpectedDue  Day & 'Lady In Waiting' will be so glad when she can paint her own toenails again so that her little pinkies stop getting painted too by 'Daddy In Waiting'!
Who says in his defence that he needs something to take  away his boredom whilst waiting for junior to arrive!

We have 5 expected days to delivery and 'All In Waiting' are treading on eggshells waiting for that all important phone call which summons us to hospital!
I have hardly slept at night for the last two weeks through fear of not hearing the phone, even though the mobile andlandline are right by my head! AND 'Lady In Waiting' thought she might go into labour early, putting us all on alert! THANKS!  'Lady In Waiting'!  But we still love you! - honest!  ;-) 'Daddy In Waiting' is threatening to make her run a marathon to shake son out! -ouch! cant you tell he's not carrying a baby!

Think I got away with my first blog!

Hello peeps,
Well I think I got away with posting my first blog ok after all! After ALOT of faffing about, I realised my blog could not be read because the dark background colour hid it!
Whooppss! what a plonker!
So here I am on my second day having another 'practice'!
I am dying to get this thing set up properly as I have lots of things & some exciting news I want to share with you.

uniqcutebabies is  growing all the time and I am currently waiting for a brand new all singing all dancing website that will replace the very limited one I am using right now.

My second very important piece of news that I'd like to share with you, is that I am going to be a first time  Nanna to a GrandsonVERY SOON NOW (I hope!) due on the 16th May, two days after his daddy's birthday.
Terrified, but looking forward to it!
Having survived the trial and tribulations of being a mother 3 times over for over 30 years and getting it wrong most of the time if you believe my children! What the hell are my roles and responsibilities as a Nanna?????
H-E-L-P!!!!! Anyone got any ideas?!!!
